How much does it cost to launch a Solana token?
See what a Solana token launch really costs on Pump.fun, LaunchLab or your own Raydium pool. Use the calculator, compare real examples, and plan your budget.
How much does it cost to launch a Solana token?
A Pump.fun launch on Solz starts at about 0.056 SOL in fees, plus your own buy. A token with your own Raydium pool costs about 0.28 SOL in fees, plus your liquidity. Bundles, vanity addresses and airdrops add to that. Fees are only part of it, because liquidity and marketing usually cost far more.

Choose how you'd launch and what you'd add. The total updates as you go:
Estimated cost
- Solz service fee0.05 SOL
- Creating the token on-chain0.006 SOL
- Trading fee on your buy (1.25%)0.0125 SOL
An estimate from Solz's current fees. It leaves out what bundle wallets spend on their buys, and your priority fee and the network can change the total.
The fees come from Solz's fee tables on November 2, 2026, and token account rent from the Solana network. The calculator is an estimate, and Solz shows the exact amount before you approve.
Prerequisites
- A decision on how you'd launch. This guide compares each way.
- Your token's name, symbol and image.
- A budget you can afford to lose, because a launch can lose all of the money you put in.
What do real launches cost?
These four examples use Solz's current fees. A simple Pump.fun launch with a 1 SOL buy needs about 1.07 SOL. A Pump.fun launch with a 12-wallet bundle adds about 0.24 SOL in fees. A Raydium pool with 10 SOL of liquidity needs about 10.30 SOL, most of which you can withdraw unless you burn it.
Example 1: a simple Pump.fun launch with a 1 SOL buy
This is the form for it. The button shows the 0.05 SOL Solz fee, and your wallet shows the full amount before you approve:
| Part | Cost |
|---|---|
| Solz service fee | 0.05 SOL |
| Creating the token on-chain | About 0.006 SOL |
| Your buy | 1 SOL |
| Trading fee on your buy, 1.25% | 0.0125 SOL |
| Total | About 1.0685 SOL |
Example 2: Pump.fun with a 12-wallet bundle and a vanity address
| Part | Cost |
|---|---|
| Launch fees, as in Example 1 | About 0.056 SOL |
| Buy Bundle, 12 × 0.01 SOL | 0.12 SOL |
| Collect Tokens, 12 × 0.01 SOL | 0.12 SOL |
| Minimum Jito tip | 0.0001 SOL |
| Vanity address, 4 letters | 0.3 SOL |
| Fees | About 0.5961 SOL |
Add your own buy and what each bundle wallet spends, plus their trading fees. Bundle wallets are visible on-chain, so tell your community what your team holds.
Example 3: your own Raydium pool with 10 SOL of liquidity
| Part | Cost |
|---|---|
| Create the token | 0.05 SOL |
| Network fees and rent | About 0.016 SOL |
| Solz pool service fee | 0.06 SOL |

| Your liquidity | 10 SOL, plus your tokens |
| Burn liquidity pool (LP) tokens, if you choose to | 0.025 SOL |
| Total | About 10.301 SOL |
The liquidity isn't a fee. You can withdraw it later unless you burn or lock it, though its value can change. Solz's balance check also looks for a further 0.06 SOL for token accounts.
Example 4: an airdrop to 1,000 wallets
These are the totals the app shows at Normal speed, for a token that has never been compressed, sending to wallets with no token account. See the airdrop guide for larger sends:
| Way to send | Service fee | Rent or setup | Transaction fees | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 1 SOL | 1.48844 SOL | 0.004272 SOL | About 2.49 SOL |
| Compressed | 1 SOL | 0.05 SOL | 0.0112 SOL | About 1.07 SOL, including compressed accounts |
What else should I budget for?
Fees are the small part. You may also want liquidity, a website, community work and marketing, and none of those have a set price. Budgets you'll see online vary widely, from a few SOL to thousands of dollars, and many come from people selling launch services. Decide what you need, not what they suggest.
- Liquidity: the deeper the pool, the less each trade moves the price. On a bonding curve, buyers build it instead.
- Your own buy: this is a choice, not a requirement. On Pump.fun, it can start at 0.0001 SOL.
- Listings and verification: these have their own costs, and many are free.
- Priority fees: these are small on a launch, and can add up across a big airdrop.
Steps to work out your budget
- Choose how you'll launch. Use a curve if you don't have liquidity to commit, and a pool if you do.
- Add the extras you need. Enter them in the calculator above.
- Add your own buy or liquidity. Only commit what you can afford to lose.
- Keep some SOL spare. Solz checks your balance before each transaction, and a little extra covers network fees.
- Start your launch. Open Launch on Pump Fun, Launch on LaunchLab or the Solana Token Creator.
What if I don't have enough SOL?
Solz checks your balance before it builds a launch. If you're short, a red message says Not enough balance, you need at least the amount shown (including gas + service fees). Nothing is sent or charged at that point, so add the SOL and click again. On Pump.fun, it checks for about 0.075 SOL, plus your buy and 1%.
| What you see | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Your wallet asks you to approve, showing the total | Everything's ready | Check the amount and approve |
| Successful, with a link to the transaction | Your launch went through | Check it in My Tokens |
| Not enough balance, you need at least the amount shown | You can't cover the fees and your buy | Add SOL, or reduce your buy |
| Transaction timeout ! This might be due to you sending invalid transactions / congested network | It didn't confirm in time | Check your wallet history before trying again, then raise your priority fee |

FAQ
What's the cheapest way to launch a Solana token?
A Pump.fun launch, at about 0.056 SOL in fees plus a small buy, is the cheapest here. It doesn't guarantee anyone buys, and most coins never graduate from the curve.
Do I need liquidity to launch?
Not on a bonding curve, where buyers build it. For your own pool, you supply it yourself. This guide compares the two.
Is it cheaper to revoke authorities at creation?
Yes. The switches in the token creator add no extra fee, while revoking later costs 0.04 SOL each.
Why does my wallet ask for more than the Solz fee?
The total includes network fees, rent and your own buy or liquidity. Solz's fee is only one part of it.
Will these costs change?
They can. Solz's fees, launchpad fees and Solana's rent can all change, and Solana plans further rent reductions. Solz shows the current amount before you approve.
