Solz vs Orion Tools: features, fees and which to use

Compare Solz and Orion Tools for a Solana token launch, including token creation, revokes, liquidity pool costs, launchpads and which tool suits you.

Is Solz or Orion Tools better for a Solana token launch?

For most launches, Solz costs less and does more. Creating a token with mint and freeze revoked costs 0.05 SOL on Solz, and 0.5 SOL on Orion Tools' form. Solz also covers launchpads, bundles and airdrops. Orion Tools suits you if you only want its small set of token and Raydium tools.

This comparison is accurate as of November 2, 2026, the date we checked it. Fees, features and limits on both tools can change after that, so confirm the current details on each tool before you decide.

Solz wrote this comparison, so check the figures yourself. Orion Tools' fees come from the pages on its site, read without connecting a wallet. Fees are in SOL, and leave out network fees and your own liquidity. It doesn't publish a single fee list, so some amounts may only appear in the tool.

Which features does each tool offer?

Orion Tools focuses on creating a token and running a Raydium pool. Its menu lists a token creator, liquidity tools, a swap, token burning, Burn & Earn and a leaderboard. Solz covers those core steps too, and adds launchpads, bundled buys, airdrops, snapshots, token locks, tax tokens, vanity addresses and your own launchpad.

"Yes" means the tool's own site lists it. "Not listed" means we couldn't find it there, not that it definitely doesn't exist.

Where does Orion Tools win?

Orion Tools has a simple site with one short path, from token to Raydium pool. It also lists Raydium's Burn & Earn, which keeps your right to the pool's fees while locking the liquidity, along with a swap and a points leaderboard. Solz's Burn Liquidity gives up that liquidity's fee share, so this can matter.

  • Burn & Earn: it describes it as permanently locking CPMM positions, while you keep ownership of the fees.
  • Simplicity: there are fewer tools to choose from, if a Raydium pool is all you need.
  • Swap and leaderboard: both are in its menu, and neither is listed on Solz.

Why choose Solz over Orion Tools?

Choose Solz if you want a lower price and more than a Raydium pool. It costs less at each step where both show a fee, includes revokes at creation, and covers launchpads, bundled buys and airdrops. It also lists tools we couldn't find on Orion Tools, including token locks and your own launchpad.

  • Lower fees: 0.285 SOL against at least 1 SOL for the basic launch above.
  • Revoke at creation for no extra fee: Orion Tools charges 0.1 SOL each.
  • Launchpads and bundles: launch on Pump.fun or LaunchLab, with bundled buys.
  • Compressed airdrops: compression saves about 60% when recipients have no token account yet.
  • Token locks: a lock costs 0.002 SOL, and anyone can browse and verify locks.
  • Your own launchpad: create a LaunchLab platform for 0.15 SOL and earn a share of its trading fees.
